George Robb Rogers
George Robb Rogers is a highly effective lobbyist, public affairs executive, and attorney with corporate, political, and legal experience. George focuses on the Banking and Financial Services, Technology, and Tax sectors. He combines deep policy expertise with unmatched contacts and expertise in Congressional process.
George spent 14 years working for the Senate and House, and for a decade served in House Leadership. Under H.Res 7, George was designated a statutory minority employee. George served as principal House Leadership staff negotiating with the Senate for major legislation, including the Dodd Frank Act, America Invents Act, Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, Energy Policy Act, and JOBS Act, as well as the architect of several Motions to Recommit that led to Drudge Report® headlines. He managed six committees on behalf of Leader and Speaker John Boehner.
In his government service and as a lobbyist, he has forged close relationships with Senate Leader McConnell’s and Speaker McCarthy’s teams, Senate Whip Thune, and House Majority Leader Scalise, bicameral Committee Chairmen and Ranking Members, and with a number of bipartisan Senate and House Chiefs of Staff. He previously served as General Counsel for the powerful Committee on Rules, Counsel at the Oversight & Government Reform Committee, and began his career in Washington with former Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Richard Lugar.
George has been politically engaged in local, state, Congressional, and Presidential races. In the 2019-22 cycle, he built Republic Consulting into a powerhouse bipartisan fundraising operation that hosted events which raised nearly $2 million for Senators and Representatives. A recognized expert on parliamentary rules, he has coordinated parliamentary operations for several Republican National Conventions and served as a Parliamentarian for national trade associations. Prior to Capitol Hill, George was a prosecuting attorney for domestic violence and sex crimes in Indiana, and a partner in a law firm. He previously served on the national board of a Special Forces charity and helped found the National Capitol Region Squad, which has raised more than $350,000 for various Special Operations charities. He enjoys scuba diving, hiking, photography, and martial arts.
